Question about GW Key - Guild Wars Forums

Hey Folks
My Bro bought himself the GW "The Complete Collection" HEy installed tha game and used his Key.
I installed the Game on my PC as well and started a Testaccount on Prophecies. My Question is, If I want to continue playing the same Charr. Would I have to buy the Complete Collection, or would the Key of a cheaper game like Factions or Prophecies be enough, to play the whole Game?
I hope you understood my Problem :9

If I understand your issue correctly you used a trial key for Prophecies. If you want to continue that account after the trial is up, you CAN buy the whole trilogy, but if you just want Prophecies, you can simply buy that game alone. All you need is a game with prophecies in it in order to continue the character you've made.

Well...no not really...My Brother bought himself The Complete Kollektion.
If you start a Charr there, you can choose which Game you want to play.
So actually my only question is, whether you can play every game with one Key. Exp. I have got a Key for Prophecies. Can I play Factions and Nightfall wth the same Key?

I assume you used a trial key.
You can keep playing with your account and chars you created if you add a campaign key.
If your char was created in proph and hasn't visited other campaigns maps yet, then you should get add a proph campaign key to be able to keep on playing your char in PvE.

No, with a proph key you will be able to play only proph.

Complete collection key would mean he has access to all of them. Prophecies key would mean access to only Prophecies. Factions for Factions, Nightfall for Nightfall, and Eye of the North for Eye of the North. I think you get the idea.

No. To play the whole game, you need to purchase a key or keys for the whole game. (Duh

)

That means, either buying (and getting the keys for) the Complete Collection, or the Trilogy + Eye of the North, or Prophecies + Factions + Nightfall + EotN.
If you only buy Prophecies, you only get to play Prophecies.
